SHAYD
Shayd (Shay Dominguez) is a rapper and performer whose music captures the highs, lows, and lessons of real life. From growing up as the class clown in a small Illinois town to earning her MBA in St. Louis and freestyling through delivery shifts in L.A., her journey has always been powered by hustle, heart, and heat on the mic.
Her debut single “I’m Gay” became a bold coming-out anthem in 2018, followed by her first album My Plot, featuring fan favorites like “Cali Wild”, “(Your Name Here)”, and “Yo Girl.” Drawing influence from artists like Big Sean, J. Cole, Eminem, G-Eazy, and Nicki Minaj, Shay blends confident flow with emotional honesty, telling stories that motivate and connect.
Though comedy isn’t part of her music, Shay’s background in improv and stand-up gives her live shows an electric edge. Whether she’s performing or riffing with the crowd, she brings a presence that’s real, raw, and unforgettable.
With new singles on the way and a second full-length album dropping in 2026, Shayd is just getting started.
